Wrap skirts have a diverse origin, with variations found in different cultures and time periods, but the concept of a skirt that can be wrapped and secured around the waist dates back centuries and has been adapted in various forms across the world. In South Asia, we see it commonly as lungis, veshtis, and chadors.

We create asymmetrical hemlined skirts using larger pieces of forgotten textiles we collected.
